Dr. Thomas Herr joined Pediatric Group Associates in 1981.  Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Herr is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association and the Rock Island County Medical Society.  He is a past President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a past member and chair of the Academy’s Chapter Chairmen’s Forum Committee.  He currently serves on the Academy’s committees on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine and Coding and Reimbursement.  He has received several noteworthy honors and awards in recognition of his contributions to the field of pediatrics.  Dr. Herr earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.  He grew up in upstate New York and now resides in Moline with his wife and three children.  Dr. Herr enjoys golf and tennis.
